Story of a village on the Danube called Čortanovci. The village is located between Belgrade and Novi Sad and has been a favorite weekend place for the inhabitants of these two biggest Serbian cities. It used to have a lovely beach and a train station that would allow weekenders to reach it quickly, but unfortunately, recent developments of the Serbian railroads have left the locals without the option to travel by train. This is a story of how the village developed as well as a story of personal history and emotion.
