Hungary is a country rich in thermal waters thanks to its favorable balneological and geothermal conditions. After Japan, Iceland, Italy, and France, Hungary is the world’s fifth thermal water capital. There are about 80 geothermal springs in Budapest. Most of the thermal baths are both historical monuments and tourist attractions.
